With this closer look, visitors discover how these surprising and imaginative architectural features help organizations and businesses communicate their place and meaning in the community.

Self-guide Map

Fantastic Creatures in the City

is open to the general public during the pandemic through online resources. The first self-guided tours will concentrate on Boston neighborhoods that have easy access for group and family urban outings.

History Education

Starting over 300 years ago with the lion and unicorn on the Old State House, viewers are invited - creature by creature - to explore the City’s rich history. Descriptive stories about each location and animal, with references from literature and folklore, illuminate an engaging walk through Boston.
